More Defense! But man, we can shoot the ball. That's encouraging.
Shot selection already looks 10x’s better than last year. The cohesion of this group is surprisingly good too.
For all the new pieces we have, there is a togetherness that I thought would take a little longer to attain. Had 18 assist as a team and it could’ve easily been about 25 if they guys connected.
This team is much improved from last year. Looking forward to watching them all season.
Love: team chemistry and excitement to play together, substitution patterns, 3pt shooting, asserting what we are good at, sharing the ball and ball movement, didnt panic when down
Didnt love: down in 2nd half to radford at home– im sorry, i know they actually have some good players but only one thatll have a chance at the pros, should have put our foot on the gas out of the locker room..turnovers, some of them were ridiculous…elliot cadeau's bricks on the ft line (maybe its just adjustment to depth of shooting in a dome?)

Good job handling a close game. When we needed a basket we pretty much got it. Rebounding, free throw shooting, and defense needs to be better. The Radford guards are very good and I think they are a possible tournament team. Like College of Charleston last year.

I am not impressed by this showing. UNC didn't even cover the spread. And they had better shoot more than 62.5% from the free throw line when they face the likes of Tennessee, UConn, and Arkansas. Furthermore, that team down the road won by 38. Not a great early look.
Looks like they have a Chizik coached defense . Thay will probably call it WHAT DEFENSE .

I'm not seeing good defense, myself. I've never worried about my heels' scoring points in the past. But I certainly worry about them making defensive stops. 🤷♂️
