North Carolina had a solid performance on opening night of the 2023-24 college basketball season, beating Radford 86-70. The Tar Heels did some things well (like relying on Armando Bacot) and showed others areas in which they need growth (like 1st half turnovers). Michigan st lost first game of the young season
The first performance of my Tar Heels is pretty good they share the ball they play decent defense first half a lot of those guys were just making some tuff shots but second half they stepped it up on Dee I think this team has the potential to be a great team we have all the pieces we just got to have the heart and the want to to have a great season but it’s all in our hands
I hope we get better on defense because we can't depend on 3 point shooting to bail us out every time we get down and Bacot will have to throw it down when he gets really close to the basket because he miss a lot of soft layups he will have to play stronger when he goes up against better competition or smarter.!!
Yeah we're going to have to play better defense although those guards were hitting some tough shots. Also, someone else has to be more active on the boards. If we get better at those two things, we can go far . Let's do better against Lehigh. Go Heels !!!!
We could be a really solid team if'n you get Trimble to show everybody how to play defense. Also, Washington doesn't read into the play…. ally-oops , he just doesn't get it. Great fast break where Ingram passes for Washington to flush, he simply just doesn't expect it. Don't understand the recruitment there
