I love how our bench is finally being used and having minutes to actually play!!! Not just the same 7 players all game and no one getting any burn!
Man Hubert if you don’t start Elliot and move Trimble to the bench you gone cost this team much needed growth. He is the only one advancing the ball and living in the paint. RJ is not a point guard but with Elliot he can be a heck of an off guard which he has always been. This also opens up the team and Armando will benefit so much from rim running and receiving Elliot’s advance passes. That’s UNC championship ball. You and other coaches with the stagnant offenses and the basic plays makes me wonder if you study plays or just put talent out there and hopes it succeeds. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️PS a zone defense would also ease the transition such as a 3-2 or 2-3 zone which pickups at half court

i was complaining to my boyfriend that the guys we brought in to shoot 3's weren't doing it, and right after they railed off lik 7 in a row or something lol.. definitely going to complain to him more often

Love this Heels team, so much depth. If egos can be kept in check and play like they did in 2nd half, they can cut down the nets in April.
UNC went into the locker room at halftime as Clark Kent and came out as Superman. They need to stay Superman. The team is very talented……..they are very scary when they are clicking on all cylinders…..but their play is inconsistant and concerning at times. They need to play with the passion and killer instict that they played with in the second half for entire games…..bottom line. Today they have proven that they are a very dangerous team to face when they want to be. No more excuses.
If UNC plays like they did in the 1st half they can lose to anyone. If they play like they did in the 2nd half they are a championship contender.
