North Carolina has played well enough in the early part of this season to make Tuesday night’s matchup with reigning national champion UConn at Madison Square Garden at top-10 showdown between two of the nation’s top-five offenses. We will see a matchup of two of college basketball’s best big men in Armando Bacot and Donovan Clingan. That said, there are great matchups all over the court – RJ Davis is cooking, Elliot Cadeau is coming into his own, Cormac Ryan is coming back from injury, Harrison Ingram has provided more than expected, and the bench has added a good deal of help. For UConn, Tristen Newton runs the show, and in addition to Clingan, has great running mates in Alex Karaban, Cam Spencer, and uber-talented freshman Stephon Castle coming back from injury.

I was at that Duke @Dean dome game. Zion didn’t play and Bolden crashed into the goal post and hurt his knee. This was my first Duke game and it was my birthday! So Isaac, we both had external factors benefiting the heels!!
After this game we drove to charlotte for the ACC tournament. Probably the best sports time of my life!! Go heels!!
