North Carolina vs. UConn: The #5 Huskies defeated the #9 Tar Heels, 87-76 at Madison Square Garden as part of the Jimmy V Men’s Classic. North Carolina made 44.4% of their field goal attempts and only led for a total of 3:25 of the game. R.J. Davis went off for 26 points and four rebounds. Harrison Ingram had 20 points, five assists, four rebounds, and a steal. Armando Bacot had another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, plus he had five assists. For UConn, Cam Spencer had 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Alex Karaban added 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
