North Carolina nearly got a big time resume-building victory over Kentucky on Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta, but fell just short. RJ Davis did his best to get his team over the hump by notching his 5th straight game with 26+ points. Cormac Ryan also did his part, having the breakout we’ve been waiting on. The Tar Heels held Reed Sheppard and Antonio Reeves relatively in check, but Kentucky’s balanced scoring won the day.
Armando Bacot had a quiet day, and Carolina will need more from him going forward if they want to notch big victories in games of this nature.

I don't see coach Davis getting upset about anything. I am not sure if I like that. Maybe he doesn't like to send messages publicly but I hope he does behind the scenes because something is off. All I hear is glaring approval. Every press conference sounds the same. Might need to make some tweaks and pivots and alter some things to get back to high octane basketball.
To many turnovers was the main problem.
