To the family of UNC basketball Great, Eric Montross, and the UNC family in Chapel-Hill, I would like to extend a heartfelt expression of sorrow for your loss. Your loss is the world's loss. A gentle giant of a human being, and ferocious post player on the interior for the Heels, leading UNC to the National Championship, his greatness extended far beyond the basketball court and the University of NC Chapel Hill. His charitable endeavors made such an impact in so many lives, our hearts are burdened today. So thankful for the years we got to see Mr. Montross flourish in school and afterwards, it's hard to say goodbye. But, heaven got a great one today. This we know!
Was a walking exemplary of the Carolina Way.
My condolences to his family sorry for their loss praying for the family
Very sad. I grew up in Virginia when he was playing. I did not like North Carolina teams lol. But Eric was piece of my teenage years. Sorry to hear that he passed. Rest in peace Eric. And much comfort to his family and friends.
