North Carolina At Chapel Hill

North Carolina has lost back to back games to UConn and Kentucky and now gets one more crack at adding an additional marquee non-conference, resume-building victory in the form of Porter Moser’s Oklahoma Sooners. Will RJ Davis continue the torrid scoring streak that he’s on? Will Cormac Ryan build on his breakout game against Kentucky or regress to what we’ve seen so far this season? Will Armando Bacot bounce back from his subpar performance against the Wildcats?

It’s hard to know what to make of Oklahoma because of their weak non-conference slate. The Tar Heels have played four teams more highly ranked than the BEST team Oklahoma has played. The eye-test and computer metrics suggest that the Sooners are legit, but it’s hard to know until you’ve seen them against Carolina-level talent.
