On Wednesday, the Tar Heels defeated Oklahoma to improve to 8-3 on the year. The Tar Heels now have quality wins over Arkansas, Tennessee and Oklahoma before they finish off non-conference play against Charleston Southern and continue ACC play on the road against Pitt.

Former North Carolina basketball star Justin Jackson is hosting “Shooting It Straight with Justin Jackson” this season. The show will feature Jackson’s takes on the North Carolina basketball team from the perspective of a former player.

Jackson played three seasons at UNC, from 2014 to 2017. He started 114 games in his UNC career and averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists across the three years. In 2017, Jackson was a consensus first-team All-American and ACC Player of the Year. He also helped the Tar Heels win the 2017 National Championship.
