The No.7 Tar Heels cruised to an impressive 67-54 victory over NC State. RJ Davis notched 16 points and 4 rebounds, and Elliott Cadeau had 11 points plus 6 assists for the Tar Heels. Harrison Ingram hauled in a career-high 19 rebounds in the win to go with 9 points. Casey Morsell and DJ Burns Jr. combined for 23 points and 8 rebounds for the Wolfpack.

Hey I mean the defense for this team is so much better we went from letting teams shoot 40 % to just 20% defense wins chips and also two consecutive games with the opponents shooting under 10% on threes pretty good if u ask me

North Carolina's defense for several games now is not only keeping the opposition from scoring by making them take difficult shots,but is wearing teams down physically so in the last five minutes of the game Carolina is dominating. You have to be encouraged by these observations.
