The No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels won their ninth straight game as they beat the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 85-64. RJ Davis led all scorers with 36 points on 14-23 shooting to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists in the win. Freshman point guard Elliot Cadeau was more aggressive on offense than normal, scoring 14 points on 7-12 shooting. Hunter Sallis led the Deacs with 18 points in the loss.

UNC has to be the best team in all of college basketball at this point of the season. For the first time in a long time they have a complete team. Cormac Bryan is not scoring but you can hear him on the court. Withers is starting to be a good 6 man off the bench with no drop off. The scary part about this team is they haven't peaked yet. The road to the NCAA Championship goes through Chapel Hill. Hubert Davis has his boys playing at a high level for sure. Go Heels!

This Carolina team is playing exceptionally well! Loving every moment of this winning streak. The bench is vastly improved over last season. RJ is playing lights out. The new transfers are contributing. The Tar Heels’ defense is the best I have seen in a many years. Guys, just keep focused, keep sharing the basketball, and another Final Four appearance is within reach.
