The No. 12 Duke Blue Devils got late-game heroics from Kyle Filipowski and Tyrese Proctor as Jon Scheyer’s club held off the hard-fighting Clemson Tigers, 72-71. Trailing by 2 with 20 seconds remaining, Filipowski converted a huge 3-point play. After PJ Hall converted on FTs to give Clemson a 1-point lead, Proctor drew a foul with 1 second remaining and calmly drilled two foul shots to give Duke the win. Jared McCain led all scorers with 21 points on 8-12 shooting while Proctor added 18 points in the win. PJ Hall paced the Tigers with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

That's a freakin jump ball play! Both guys hands were up reaching for the ball until Chase crashed into Mitchell. Of course he fell he ran into Mitchell's torso. You gotta have the ball to draw a block and he was never grabbed. So…Otherwise I don't know what you want…except for Duke to lose. Well, they tried to give it to Clemson all night. Bitch at your player for fouling a jump shooter. But then again…whining gets you sympathy…against Duke anyway. Disappointed in Brownell. "Taken from us." Sad.

Real disappointed in Clemson coach saying "the game was taken from us. " Waaaa. What, the refs were supposed to GIVE the game to Clemson because they came close? They were supposed to ignore a foul just because it is at the end of the game? Did the refs shoot those last two free throws? Filipowski did more to give that game away. When he is matched physically, he is dog puke. Almost every game now, Filipowski is unattached to the game mentally, especially in the first half of the game; dude stumbles around like he's "on" something, doing the "thousand yard stare". Scheyer gets out-coached nearly every game, and his young shooters bail his ass out. I guess he figures because he is a product of the "brotherhood', he's got a lock on that job. Wrong.
