Virginia had just one ACC win and the #20 Tar Heels had just one ACC loss coming into their game on Saturday in Charlottesville, but it was UVA who came away with the 81-66 victory. Virginia outscored UNC 21-9 in both the second and fourth quarters to turn the game in their favor. Once again it was Kymora Johnson who had an outstanding game for Virginia, hitting on 4-5 three-pointers and finishing the game with 25 points. Johnson also had six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Sam Brunelle and Paris Clark each scored 14 points for UVA. For North Carolina, Reniya King hit four three-pointers and had a team-high 20 points.
