The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets played a great game, got late-game heroics from a freshman, and upset the No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels, 74-73. Naithan George got Armando Bacot on a pick and roll switch with 10 seconds remaining and took the big man to the hole for the go-ahead basket. RJ Davis had a shot attempt in traffic as time expired, but couldn’t get it to fall. It was a back-and-forth game throughout, with Miles Kelly, Kyle Sturdivant and George each scoring in double figures for Damon Stoudamire’s club. Davis led the Heels with 28 points in the loss.

Wow….Georgia Tech, a team that is unranked and in the ACC cellar beats UNC the #3 ranked team in the nation…..lol. RJ Davis put on another stellar performance but UNC still crashed and burned. I hope that UNC don't think that RJ is going to be able to continue to carry the team the entire season….then the ACC Tournement….then March Madness. He's going to need help from that bumb Bacot that is a flop this year. Jalen Washington accomplished more in 11 minutes than Bacot did in the entire game. Washington should be starting and Bacot coming off of the bench. Georgia Tech smashed UNC on the boards tonight also. One thing that I do have to say though is that the refs called a horrible game against UNC. They might as well had suited up for Georgia Tech because they were clearly in Georgia Tech's favor. Even Stevie Wonder could see that.
