In their first meeting of the season, the #3 Tar Heels took down the #7 Blue Devils, 93-84. North Carolina used its defense to spark the fast break and get easy buckets. UNC forced 11 Duke turnovers and scored 19 points off of those turnovers. Armando Bacot scored a game-high 25, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out five assists. Playing in his first UNC-Duke game, Harrison Ingram scored 21 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and had four steals. RJ Davis added 17 points and five assists. For Duke, Jared McCain led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Kyle Filipowski added 22 points and Jeremy Roach scored 20 points.
