UNC ran them off the 3 pt line and was willing to let them get 2's at worst. That's why they score 83 is because it was in UNC's favor to not let them rain 3's. Great game plan by Hubert Davis.
I think Duke should have tried to get the Tarheels out of their game style. Like slow the game down a lot though Duke plays very good playing a fast game.
Duke is only one late whistle against Clemson away from losing three of their last four games. They play slow, and are not interested in playing consistently stout defense.
Scheyer is a very stand up dude. I know he's young and still growing as a coach but I guarantee he'll have his team playing harder next time around in Cameron
The worst coaches I ever had when we had a loss told us we weren’t trying hard enough. An 8 or 10 point lead in the ACC is nothing. He got out coached. He got a lot of officiating calls too. Obvious bad calls at key points. I don’t think Dean ever said in a press conference my guys didn’t try hard enough. He didn’t have a lock down guy on Ingram, they didn’t box out, and he had the dominant big man. They should have worn out the post and shut Ingram down. That would have been coaching.
Scheyer has done a fine job. Nobody would be saying anything about a 17-5 (8-3) duke under coach k. Cut him some slack. Scheyers post game analysis was spot on-he knows what needs to be focused on to make the team better. Also hubert is a great coach. I think both coaches will be around for the next 10 yrs

To go from Coach K to this clown is just a gut punch. I’ve never seen a softer, poorly disciplined team. Scheyer needs to be fired.
