The Blue Devils trailed by as many as 14 late in the third quarter but came back to defeat the Tar Heels 68-60 in overtime. It is Duke’s first regular season win over North Carolina since 2020. Taina Mair’s three-pointer with 55 seconds left in overtime was the dagger for Duke. Mair finished the game the 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Delaney Thomas scored 19 points off the bench and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Blue Devils. For North Carolina, Deja Kelly had 20 points and five rebounds. Reniya Kelly added 13 points.
