Storming the court after beating a #7 team with six losses. Ok. I guess that is what sports is come down too. Toot their horn all you want, but this team has a lot of work to do if they want to get a bid with the big boys. They are not there yet. Not even close.
If you want to see both sides of the coin regarding a Zone defense, rewatch the Wade Forest loss in the 2023 ACC Tournament. 36 minutes the zone was disciplined by staying in the passing lanes, the guards got easy rebounds, and not over playing the first potential shooter. The defenders started flying at the shooter often ending up out of boys and two passes later the ball was in a shooter's hands with no one guarding and if Wake missed they got the rebound due to the unbalanced court. Any hesitation by the offense results in increased negative outcomes including shot clock issues.
Don't give this win back to a Notre Dame. All of this years losses were winnable.
The Autry era picks up its first big win. Hopefully all the Boeheim loyalists can hop on board now – this would never had happened with Buddy and the City Rocks squad!

I still donβt see what Taylor is bringing to the court? He rarely rebounds, is afraid to shoot, and plays no defense!
