The Syracuse Orange fought for a huge 86-79 win over the No. 7 North Carolina Tar Heels in front of a great crowd at the JMA Wireless Dome. Judah Mintz and JJ Starling played exceptionally well, seemingly taking turns hitting big shots for the Orange in the 2nd half. Mintz scored 16 of his 25 points in the 2nd half and Starling scored 13 of his 23 points after the break. As a team, the Orange shot 63% from the floor in the win. RJ Davis led the Heels with 19 points and Armando Bacot recorded his 80th career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Bottom line they loosing to unranked teams which is bad with talent they have no defense
16-10 with 6 regular season games left. 2 road wins not gonna help. The 🍊 playing better since Benny Williams got bounced. JJ Starling is balling and since they put Chris Bell in the small-ball lineup they've looked much better. The transfer 7'4 Center McLeod out for the year but he wasnt all that. Hope the team can go 4-2 to 20 wins, then fair well in the ACC Tournament to make the big dance.

Glad to get some pay back after the lopsided game here in Chapel Hill. Worst game I have attended at UNC. Been to about 8 games now here in Chapel Hill. What's worse, losing by almost 40 or losing to a team you beat by 40, lol . LETS GO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOORANGE

Syracuse needs to stay in the 2/3 defense.This team plays a better all around game when they are in the 2/3. Less fouls and stays fresh and focused on efficient offense.
This isn't good! Carolina tanking at the wrong time. They should be getting it right by now. This is coaching, not having this team mentally prepared. We know they are more talented.
