It was Senior Day in Blacksburg for the #8 Hokies, and the seniors put on a show leading to a 74-62 win over the Tar Heels. Elizabeth Kitley tied a season-high with 34 points on 11-17 shooting, and she grabbed six rebounds. Georgia Amoore scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half. Amoore also had 11 assists and became the all-time leader in assists in Virginia Tech history. For North Carolina, Deja Kelly had 29 points, two rebounds, and two steals.
