The Boston College Eagles built a big lead and then withstood a furious UNC comeback on the way to their 78-74 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels. JoJo Lacey had a very impressive game, scoring a game-high and new career-high 23 points along with a team-high tying 8 rebounds before fouling out in the win. Maria Gakdeng played very well in her return to Chestnut Hill, scoring a team-high 16 points with 10 rebounds in the loss.

Carolina ladies on a downward slump, I saw it coming weeks ago with this untalented squad. D.Kelly is all this team has to count on. I use to think it was coaching and in some ways it is, but really there is no talent other than Kelly. No basketball mentality, no talent, no fight, defense is pathetic, very painful to watch this team and they won’t go far in the upcoming conference playoffs. They just out there wearing the blue.
