The North Carolina Tar Heels beat the visiting NC State Wolfpack 79-70 on Saturday to sweep the regular season series, while also maintaining their place atop the ACC. Harrison Ingram led the Heels in scoring (22), becoming the 4th different Tar Heel to lead the team in scoring in the last four games (Armando Bacot, RJ Davis, cormac Ryan being the others). UNC’s defense turned around a weak first half in which they allowed the Wolfpack to shoot 7-11 from 3 and held Kevin Keatts’ team to just 25 second half-points.
