UNC’s presumptive ACC Player of the Year RJ Davis will go through senior night activities on Tuesday evening as the Tar Heels welcome Notre Dame to the Dean E. Smith Center for the first and only matchup of the regular season. Coach Huber Davis says that Davis is simply doing what Leaky Black and Armando Bacot have done before him and that no conversations about the possibility of RJ utilizing his extra year of COVID eligibility will happen until after the season. Armando Bacot will also be going through Senior Night activities and Coach Davis says he can’t remember a time coaching UNC prior to Bacot’s arrival. North Carolina can clinch at least a share of the ACC with a win on Tuesday night, but it is not a task that should be taken lightly as Notre Dame has looked like a different team the last six games while utilizing a brand new lineup.
