Alyssa Ustby’s block with nine seconds to go right under the basket persevered the 63-59 Tar Heels win over the Blue Devils. North Carolina led for the majority of the second half, but a late rally by Duke put them in position to tie up the game if not for Ustby’s block. Ustby finished the game with 17 points, six rebounds, four steals, two assists, and one block. Deja Kelly was UNC’s leading scorer with 18 points, to go with seven rebounds and three assists. Ashlon Jackson hit 4 three-pointers and finished the game with 17 points and six assists. Tania Mair added 12 points and three rebounds.
