Miami vs. North Carolina: The 9th-seeded Miami Hurricanes survived a tough, physical game and sent the 8th-seeded North Carolina Tar Heels home with a 60-59 win in the 2024 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament in Greensboro, NC. Four players scored in double figures for the Hurricanes, led by Shayeann Day-Wlison’s 13-point, 5 assist performance. Deja Kelly and Alyssa Ustby each scored 15 points to pace the Tar Heels in the loss.

Just as that predicted with the lady Tar Heels, one and done in the ACC tournament this team lacks basketball mentality and talent. D Kelly is really the only decent player, they are so erratic and turnovers seems to be what they do mostly. D. Kelly just doesn’t have any help, Courtney Banghart hasn’t got a clue on how to coach this squad. With the lack of support even Kelly is mistake prone trying to do to much. It’s been up and down all season for the Tarheels struggling to win games. There’s just no good consistent players other than D.Kelly. On to the NCAA Women’s Tournament, maybe one first round win, but probably all this team will manage to win.
