The North Carolina Tar Heels, following their weekend win over arch-rival Duke plus Tennessee and Arizona’s losses (vs. Kentucky, at USC respectively), Hubert Davis’ team is very much in play for the 4th one seed. What will it take for Carolina to get there? Who are the other teams in play for it?
RJ Davis was named ACC Player of the Year on Monday. Weirdly, the vote wasn’t unanimous and some odd choices populated the list. Additionally, Hubert Davis won ACC Coach of the Year, Armando Bacot was on the second team and the All-Defensive team, Harrison Ingram was on the third team, and Elliot Cadeau was on the All-Rookie team.
Carolina just closed the book on the best regular season of the Hubert Davis era. It was thanks in large part to a closing 6-game winning streak that didn’t seem likely a couple weeks ago.

Cadeau may not have gotten any votes for rookie of the year, but he did still make it on the ACC All-Rookie Team with 39 votes, which you didn't mention. Between that, RJ as POY and on the 1st team, Bacot on both the 2nd team and the all-defensive team, Ingram on the 3rd team, Trimble's third place finish for Sixth Man of the Year, Hubert with COY, AND Cormac as ACC Player of the Week, our five starters, our most played bench player, and our coach ALL received all-ACC honors this week. No other team can even come close to saying that.
I believe and think strongly with a rebounding our defense our free throw shooting that we have a very good chance to win the NCAA national title a very good possibility that we came win the ACC championship we have to play one game at a time as always a great day to be a TARHEEL
