Tim Donnelly discusses whether UNC basketball should already be a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament, or if North Carolina basketball needs to advance to, or even win, the ACC Tournament to be a 1-seed on Selection Sunday.

I’ll call it now, Duke will get way underseeded just due to being in the ACC but make a final four run while the big 10 will get 8 teams in but only Houston will make it to the sweet 16.
After the committee moved from BPI to the NET rankings, they just decided the ACC (one of if not the most historic basketball conference) is a midmajor now? Every year the ACC teams (besides Virginia lol) all overperform their seed because they get massively underseeded, while other conferences like the big 10 get 10 teams in and only 1 makes it past the first weekend. The new committee rankings are a failure and really just an overcomplicated way of rewarding strength of schedule over actually winning or performing well
