North Carolina played one of their most complete games of the season in bouncing Leonard Hamilton’s Florida State Seminoles in the quarterfinals of the 2024 ACC Tournament, 92-67. Jay Bilas called UNC an elite program that plays with blue-collar energy. What an apt description of this basketball team. Host Isaac Schade coined this iteration of the Tar Heels the “blue collar blue-blood”. The man setting that tone against FSU was none other than freshman Elliot Cadeau. Carolina had one of the more lopsided rebounding efforts you’ll ever see – at one point in the 2nd half, “Florida State” was the 3rd leading rebounder. Carolina will be back in action on Friday evening in the semifinals against a Pitt team desperate to secure an NCAA Tournament bid.

jason capel is a crybaby. he got butthurt last year when the crowd was booing at the dome after the heels got bullied for the 3rd time in a row by pitt. i don't even think they were booing at him but rather the heels. he made statements like how much he did for UNC and did not deserve to be booed. not offense to him but he was not very good but probably the best player on the worst UNC team in my 54 years. there are only a few heels that i never cared for. one of them did help us win a title. but mccants is a pos. i never liked makhtar and his lie about being called the N word by Utah was straw. and capel is the other heel i did not care for.
