Carolina was sure that the up tempo game would take its toll on State in the second half but the guys kept pushing themselves to the very end and Carolina just didn’t have an answer for it…
I would hate to argue with Tim Peeler, but the NC State “stuff” started in 1989…
That was Sam Perkins, not Brad Daugherty, who shot the ball at the end of regulation in the '83 ACC Semifinal against State.
