IMO, our best basketball started in the 2nd half vs. state in chapel hill and ended with the fsu game. the heels weren't very good vs. pitt. state outplayed heels from tip to buzzer but were still down 1 at half. i thought that would demoralize state, adding to their 5 straight game fatigue. but state was not having it.
we had the easiest path to the acct you could possibly ask for and blew it. an acct cannot be taken away regardless of the ncaat result. some folks brush it off and say acct does not matter, only the ncaat does. i call bs on that attitude as all game matter and i hate losing any of them. even if we win the ncaat, the season would have been even better with the acct.

One thing that I really liked, is when Isaac said, not to settle for shooting 3’s!!! That is KEY!! Attack!! Not settle!!!
For me I doubt all one seeds will make it to the final four. Three of the top seeds lost in their tournament. I think Uconn can get there and Im hoping Carolina. However they have to play with energy and more collectively on offense. Not just stand around waiting on Davis to save the day.
I like your listing of what the Tar Heels should do for a successful 😂tournament. May I suggest one more: strategic substitution patterns. In the NC State loss, the Heels looked even more tired than the opponents. Two keywords that must be studied carefully—substitution,strategy—by the coaches, and implement the patterns in practice.

A successful run this year is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. It's hard to get there because of the parity.
