It’s time to start devoting some brain power to the transfer portal, where the Heels will likely need to find an Armando Bacot replacement. One target to consider is Stanford’s Maxime Raynaud, who entered on Tuesday, March 19. Raynaud is 7’1, has good touch around the basket, can finish with either hand, and also step out and knock them down from outside. Can we keep the Palo Alto to Chapel Hill pipeline open?

I'll take him
U have jw he should start next yr. if he stay..
I'd love to have this guy as a backup to wash or in a starting 5.. I feel Elliot will more than likely come back for one more season we're gonna build around him at the 1 if Davis returns again damn what a backcourt. If not I feel the 5 star top 10 recruit may start at the 2.. I for one hope Ingram and Davis both come back and Elliot those 3 return would be crazy
The player from Stanford that Carolina needs is Andrej Stojakovic's 3-point shooter
With all due respect to Bacot, I really want to get a center with good athleticism that can finish above the rim. For all Bacot can do, he often ran into trouble because he is a below the rim guy. There are probably a lot of points he left on the floor. Literally.
Also, is the plan to bring someone in to play over Washington? Should we plan on Washington leaving?
Lost me at "hes not much of a shot block, he's a little bit slender". IMO UNC needs a rim protector. Washington can score, given the opportunity. UNC needs toughness to go along with scoring. Near 7ft scorers in Huberts lineup haven't exactly brought success. The heels struggled with Dawson Garcia and Nance.
We would certainly welcome him with open arms
Also, speaking of Stanford the top 3 portal guys so far are all from Stanford! Wacky stuff
What about Stojacovich, speaking of Stanford? Hes a forward at 6'7" and not a center though, ex Top 25 espnu guy 🤔
We gots three freshman to think about too. Though James Brown is "only" 6-8
Pairing him with maybe Washington at the 4 Ingram at the 3 Cadeau JR guards ? Just my rambling thinking Washington could be a 16-8 production
