The No. 7 North Carolina Tar Heels got a much-needed 96-81 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies at home. Harrison Ingram got the Heels off to a good start, scoring 11 of his 12 points in the first 20 minutes while Armando Bacot took over in the 2nd half for Hubert Davis’ club, scoring 19 of his 25 points after the break on 11-16 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds. RJ Davis added 20 points for the Heels and MJ Collins scored 18 points to lead the Hokies in a losing effort.
