North Carolina vs. Duke: UNC snapped a three-game losing streak to the Blue Devils with a 91-87 win at Cameron Indoor. Both teams made at least 10 three-pointers and shot better than 53% from the field, but the Tar Heels turned 16 Blue Devils turnovers into 28 points. Freshman Caleb Love stepped up to lead North Carolina, scoring a game-high 25 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Love was one of six UNC players to score in double-figures. Armando Bacot added 16 points, four rebounds, and two steals. For Duke, Jeremy Roach was the leading scorer with 16 points. Jalen Johnson added 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
North Carolina took down their rivals, the Duke Blue Devils, 91-87 in Durham in ACC Men’s Basketball play. Both teams shot over 53% from the field, but the Tar Heels out-rebounded the Blue Devils and came away with the win. Clemson has now won three of the last four meetings against UNC for the first time in the series history. The Clemson defense held North Carolina to 39% shooting and forced 17 turnovers. Hunter Tyson was the leading scorer with 16 points. Clyde Trapp added 14 points and nine rebounds. Aamir Simms finished the game with 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Day’Ron Sharpe was the only North Carolina player to score in double-figures. Sharpe had 16 points and eight rebounds in the game.
