Virginia vs. North Carolina Basketball Highlights (2018-19)

Virginia vs. North Carolina: Virginia was down 7 in the second half, but they were able to come back and defeated North Carolina 69-61 in Chapel Hill. The Cavaliers were able to hold the fast-paced UNC offense to just 6 fast break points. Kyle Guy scored 20 points and hit two clutch threes in the final two minutes to seal the UVA win. De’Andre Hunter also scored 20 points for Virginia and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ty Jerome had a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists for the Cavaliers. UNC freshman Coby White continued his hot scoring, leading the Tar Heels with 17 points. Cam Johnson scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds despite missing part of the final 10 minutes of the game with an ankle injury.

Belmont’s J.J. Mann hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 13.1 seconds left to help Belmont upset #12 North Carolina 83-80 on Sunday. North Carolina’s James Michael McAdoo led the Tar Heels with 27 points and 13 rebounds. UNC will face Richmond next Saturday at noon.

UNC Basketball: Dunks & Hats, Having Fun But Focused

North Carolina arrived in style for their 1st round game in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, wearing hats made by teammate Shea Rush. The Tar Heels kept it loose at practice with some impressive dunks, but the players told ACCDN host Jeff Fischel they are having fun but focused for the tourney.
