North Carolina vs. East Carolina: The Pirates rushed for 220 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 41-19 upset over the Tar Heels Saturday in Greenville. UNC starting quarterback Nathan Elliott completed 22-of-38 passes for 219 yards, 84 of those yards going to wide receiver Anthony Ratliff-Williams in the loss.

Cal opened up the 2018 season with a 24-17 win over North Carolina Saturday afternoon in Berkeley. The Golden Bears picked off UNC’s Nathan Elliott four times, three of those coming in the first half when they posted a 17-0 shutout.

North Carolina vs. California: The Tar Heels rallied for a furious 4th quarter comeback, but saw an onside kick get overturned on a review that ended hopes of an opening week victory. Cal running back Patrick Laird rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown to lead the Golden Bears to a 24-17 win. Anthony Ratliff-Williams caught 3 passes for 62 yards and a late touchdown in defeat.
