The 2011-12 North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team is one that seemed destined for greatness. With stars like Harrison Barnes, Tyler Zeller, John Henson, and Kendall Marshall, it was no surprise that this team entered the season with high expectations and preseason number one rankings. Injuries to key players derailed the Tar Heels in the postseason and their run ended in the Elite Eight.
