I am mad because Mgabko is probably going to North Carolina.

Ware was over rated in high school. I am a basketball official and I got an opportunity to watch him play many times. Not to demean him. He is a big guy and every game in high school he was bigger than everyone else. His skillset was decent but not overwhelming. I am talking about ball skills, passing, playing away from the basket ect.. He is far from awful…he is good. But if you compare his complete skillset to other positions, he is really not that impressive. Much as he did in high school, he needs to get allot stronger defensively and around the basket. Arkansas originally offered and I stated the same thing long before he decided to go to Oregon. I didn't think Arkansas lost anything and he wanted to come back home and they didn't even offer him the opportunity to do that. In fact I think they were better off without him. Yeah, I know he was a 5 star. Every player is not worth their rating. He is one that I am hoping for because of where he comes from. But, we have to be honest when talking about skillset and what a player can offer a team. I expect a 5 star recruit at his height to be in double digit rebounding and averaging a double double. Something like 12 and 14 at his height and length. He may get there in the long run if he gets stronger. He gets pushed away from the blocks to much. And I would like to see 10-20 more pounds on the young man so he can establish a stronger base. Then develop more moves to his left side using his left hand. Then those numbers will rise easily.

You aren't winning with 18-20 y/o in college right now. With covid, transfers & NIL (which has ever1 returning) I would not sign anyone that's not in at least their 3rd year & has already been productive on the court.
Wouldn't even look at high school recruits especially 1 & done's as you can't win with them.
