The North Carolina Tar Heels fell at home for the first time this season and just the second time EVER to Clemson on Tuesday evening. A desperate Tiger team came in and blitzed UNC from tip, a deficit from which RJ Davis and company were never able to fully recover. Armando Bacot has strung together back to back great performances, including almost single-handidly helping keep contact during Clemson’s opening run. Seth Trimble missed the game and his absence was noticeable. Carolina allowed too many offensive rebounds and second-chance points in the second half. Carolina will get back to it on Saturday at Miami.

Carolina faltered on all aspects of the game. Poor defence, switching leaving them wide open to getting out rebounded. Offensive had seem like everyone just standing around waiting for Davis to make the play. No one shot at a good precent. Even Davis missed a couple free throws. It was hard to watch a team so talented not play with effort and energy. Even harder being within 2 points with 14 minutes and not able to get the lead.
It was just as Coach Davis and some players stated unc Wasn't mentally ready to play last night the energy wasn't there so not time to panic i expect a big response this weekend against the Canes on Saturday.
The most disturbing thing is late for practice, not showing up for pregame shoot around. That equals to not caring and lack of respect. Cadeau did not have a single assist, ran into each other on offensive sets and looked totally lost. Defensive lapses giving up easy give and goes, this game belongs with last year’s squad in terms of effort.
Paxson has went from a stater to irrelevant and I can't ever recall a player doing that. He even struggles with FTs.
Also, I'd rather have beaten Tech and Clemson and lost to Duke . We have let those other teams stay alive for the regular season title which is crucial for a #1 seed.
Cormac needs to get his stuff together or drive closer to get good shots. He's been bad pretty much all year shooting threes. This game called for Seth Tremble to come in and guard Girard. Now we gotta beat Miami and Syracuse to get back these two loses around the Duke game. I'm tiked off at how Elliot hasn't developed at all. Seth brings high energy. I'm starting to think he needs to be on the court late in tight games.

The most frustrating play last night was when the score was tied at 70 and UNC had the ball . RJ drove the lane and passed it to Bacot and the ball went between Bacot's legs.
