i was 6 when phil ford led unc to the acct and i walked with my folks to see the mayhem. that was my 1st experience and around the time, i became a rabid heels fan. we lived a couple blocks from the main part of franklin in the 70s but in the 80s lived a couple miles from franklin. still drove downtown to participate in the street parties.
