This is a raw collection of dunks from games during the 1994/95 and 1997/98 seasons. The clips were copied from VHS to VHS, which took hours of watching, rewinding, etc. before being converted into an MP4. Some games deteriorated over time and were unable to be used in this highlight reel but I tried to grab as many as I could to showcase just how athletic and entertaining these Tar Heel teams were. A few plays are a bit shaky but overall I am pleased with how the final product turned out. The 94-95 and 97-98 teams provided college basketball with 2 of the most exciting teams in college basketball history, in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it.
Reblogged 1 year ago from www.youtube.comBoogie Fland, coveted point guard in the class of 2024, narrowed his school list down to eight and shared it on Monday. The Tar Heels are joined by Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, St. John’s, and UConn. With Elliot Cadeau re-classifying, will UNC be back firmly in the mix? Will it be dependent on Cadeau staying more than a year?
Several Tar Heels competed in the NBA Summer League, where Pete Nance’s Cavaliers team won the title. Will any fringe NBA Tar Heels get a shot? We wait to find out.

Incoming West Virginia transfer James Okonkwo just finished competing in the FIBA U20 European Championships. He averaged just shy of a double-double in the tournament and had just over two blocks a game. Given his performance it’s time to ask the question: Are we underrating what James Okonkwo will be able to do for the Tar Heels?
Class of 2024 4-star WR Jordan Shipp committed to UNC on Sunday afternoon. Shipp’s commitment helps Carolina continue a strong trend of having high level receiver’s in each of the recent classes.
Four-star wide receiver Jordan Shipp chose North Carolina over Michigan and NC State during a ceremony at Providence Day School on Sunday.
After the announcement, fellow UNC commit Keenan Jackson interviewed Shipp. Check out this cool interview between the two future Tar Heels!
In June, Shipp, a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, took official visits to the three aforementioned schools. He also made multiple unofficial trips to that trio as well as Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
Shipp’s UNC official visit was his final official. It took place during June’s last weekend. He previously attended a basketball game in January, a football spring practice in April, and the team’s spring game.
