Reblogged 9 months ago from www.youtube.comWatch as Flau’jae Johnson intentionally fouls MiLaysia Fulwiley after she stole the ball, which turns into several players from both the South Carolina Gamecocks and the LSU Tigers leaving the bench and Kamilla Cardoso shoving Johnson to the ground. A fan also tried to jump the media table and enter the scuffle. As a result, every player disqualified for fighting was ejected and will be ineligible to play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Every player who left the bench was ejected but not given any type of suspension. The fan who tried to enter the court was arrested. After the scuffle and all the ejections, only a 5-on-5 game remained.

The No. 7 North Carolina Tar Heels got off to a hot start and were able to hold off a hard-charging Duke team for an 84-79 win on Senior Night at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Cormac Ryan started off the game by hitting 3-straight three-pointers on his way to a season-high 31 points on 8-12 shooting, including 6-8 from deep in the win. Kyle Filipowski scored a career-high 23 points for Duke in the loss. Harrison Ingram finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds on an off night on the offensive end for RJ Davis and Armando Bacot.

Did the tournaments mean more back then than they do now? What does Kenny think is nearly impossible when you look at seating in tournaments and who ends up winning and losing? Where has Kenny NEVER been, and never will go? What were some experiences he had as a player and as a spectator? Who does Kenny like in the West for the NBA? Does Kenny have any words of wisdom on sports wagering in NC, since it officially kicks off today?
North Carolina won the ACC regular season by going to Durham and beating Duke by five points inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Tar Heels once again beat Duke without a starring performance from RJ Davis. Rather than a negative, think of the offensive depth that shows. In this game that came in the form of Cormac Ryan. Is his performance repeatable? He might not hit six threes a game, but he can drive and attack game after game. The Tare Heels survived a Kyle Filipowski run early in the second half but responded with a veteran-level 9-1 run to take back control. Next up, the Heels are the one-seed in the ACC Tournament. They will begin play on Thursday in Washington, D.C.

On today’s show @AaronTorres wonders: Where is the national outrage for Duke star Kyle Filipowski tripping a UNC player, as well as Duke fans throwing ice and water at UNC’s team?!
