North Carolina At Chapel Hill

The North Carolina Tar Heels, following their weekend win over arch-rival Duke plus Tennessee and Arizona’s losses (vs. Kentucky, at USC respectively), Hubert Davis’ team is very much in play for the 4th one seed. What will it take for Carolina to get there? Who are the other teams in play for it?

RJ Davis was named ACC Player of the Year on Monday. Weirdly, the vote wasn’t unanimous and some odd choices populated the list. Additionally, Hubert Davis won ACC Coach of the Year, Armando Bacot was on the second team and the All-Defensive team, Harrison Ingram was on the third team, and Elliot Cadeau was on the All-Rookie team.

The #7 North Carolina Tar Heels went into Durham and handed dook their second loss to the Heels in as many tries this year (#BeltToAss). Cormac Ryan was out of his mind and the Heels dominated defensively in the early stages of the game building a good lead that dook was never able to overcome.
