Deja Kelly is just a sophomore and ready to put the Tarheels back on the map.

North Carolina looks to rebound from their loss to Pitt on Wednesday night when they visit Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday. Last time the Tar Heels were there, they ended Coach K’s regular season career with a loss on his home court.

Watch the matchups, particularly how Hubert Davis chooses to guard Kyle Filipowski – does he tap Leaky Black or Pete Nance for that assignment? Will Armando Bacot bounce back from a tough night on Wednesday? Will Caleb Love continue his recent better shooting? Will RJ Davis’ finger allow him to shoot better?

The drama between UNC basketball and former UNC player Jason Capel, and it showed after Pitt’s 65-64 win over North Carolina. Capel, who is an assistant coach at Pitt under his brother, Jeff Capel, was irked by a social media post made by UNC before the game.

Joel Berry scored a game-high 20 points and Brice Johnson chipped in another double-double (19 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blks) as the Tar Heels topped Pittsburgh 88-71 in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on March 10, 2016.

No. 11 North Carolina dropped Virginia at home with a comfortable 73-62 victory. The Tar Heels shot a strong 53% while holding the Cavaliers to 38% from the floor. Kayla McPherson led the Tar Heels in her home debut, scoring 14 points while adding 4 assists and 2 rebounds. Deja Kelly added 13 points as 5 Tar Heels finished in double figures. VIrginia’s London Clarkson led all scorers with 23 points in the loss.
