The North Carolina Tar Heels pulled out a 79-77 road victory over Clemson. Armando Bacot led the Tar Heels with a double-double of 24 points on 8 of 10 shooting and 10 rebounds. R.J. Davis scored 16 points and dished out 6 assists, and Brady Manek and Leaky Black scored 11 points each for UNC. P.J. Hall led the Tigers with 24 points.

Miami vs. North Carolina: The #24 Tar Heels handled the Hurricanes with ease UNC defeated Miami 85-38. North Carolina outscored Miami 28-2 in the first quarter to set the tone for the rest of the game. Deja Kelly led the Tar Heels with 18 points to go with her five rebounds and five assists. Alyssa Ustby recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Kennedy Todd-Williams added 16 points. For Miami, Kelsey Marshall was the lone Hurricane in double-figures, with 15 points.

Duke freshman AJ Griffin continued his hot shooting in the Blue Devils’ 87-67 win over rival North Carolina. AJ Griffin was on fire from the outside for Duke, scoring a game-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-6 from three-point range. The Tar Heels put together a run to cut the halftime lead to 39-28, but Griffin opened the 2nd half with a personal 10-0 run to put the game basically out of reach.
