Syracuse vs. North Carolina:  The Tar Heels defeated the Orange 81-75 in Chapel Hill by dominating down low. UNC outrebounded Cuse 48 to 31 and had 24 offensive rebounds.  The Tar Heels also had 42 points in the paint compared to just 24 for Syracuse. Armando Bacot and Garrison Brooks both had double-doubles for the Tar Heels. Brooks led UNC in scoring with 16 points to go with his 10 rebounds. Bacot had a team-high 12 rebounds and 15 points. For Syracuse, Quincy Guerrier had 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The North Carolina Tar Heels win at home, 81-75, over the Syracuse Orange to improve to 8-4 on the season. Garrison Brooks was the leading scorer for the Tar Heels with 16 points, and he grabbed 10 rebounds as well in the win. Armando Bacot added a 15 point, 12 rebound night, and R.J. Davis delivered 12 off the bench. Quincy Guerrier scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Orange.
