Check out former North Carolina basketball player Neil Fingleton who was cast in Game of Thrones as one of the Giants. The 7’7” Fingleton played limited time for the Tar Heels but was certainly a huge presence and a crowd favorite when in the game.

North Carolina wins 2017 National Title after devastating loss in 2016.

North Carolina vs. Michigan: The 7th-ranked Wolverines stormed back from an early double-digit deficit to beat the No. 11 Tar Heels 84-67 Wednesday in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Michigan forward Ignas Brazdeikis led all scorers with 24 points for the Wolverines. Coby White led UNC with 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting in the loss.

NC State vs. North Carolina: The No. 8 Tar Heels won a lopsided affair over the Wolfpack, 113-96. It was the most points by UNC in series history. Luke Maye had 31 points and 12 rebounds for the Tar Heels. Braxton Beverly scored 17 for NC State.
