ESPN released the matchups for the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday, June 28. The North Carolina men will host Tennessee on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:15pm ET in the Dean E. Smith Center. This should be an exciting matchup between Hubert Davis’ squad led by RJ Davis and Armando Bacot against Rick Barnes’ Vols led by Zakai Zeigler, Santiago Vescovi, and Josiah-Jordan James.

Mack Brown got great news on Tuesday evening when class of 2025 QB Bryce Baker committed to the Tar Heels. It’s the fourth time in the last seven cycles for Carolina to land the top in-state quarterback. Baker is the first commit in the 2025 class and should be a great building block for the class.

Following Bob Huggins’ resignation from West Virginia, the Mountaineers have begun to see a trickle of players into the transfer portal. Keep in mind, the help the Tar Heels most need is a backup frontcourt player. One such ‘Eer is Mohamed Wague who has entered the transfer portal. Based on what he did last year in Morgantown, Wague projects to provide exactly what the Tar Heels would need. Would give great backup minutes at the 5 and provide high level rim protection and, in particular, offensive rebounding.

Sherrell McMillan and Sean Moran join host Jon Seiglie (filling in this week for Joey Powell) to catch up on the latest UNC basketball recruiting news. In this clip from the show, Moran and McMillan discuss the Carolina coaching staff watching 2025 forward Sadiq White from Myers Park in Charlotte, and what this means for his recruitment. Both McMillan and Moran have been impressed with White’s play, and the news of which coaches were present at his games shows how highly the UNC staff rates him as well.
