Paxson Wojcik talked with Inside Carolina and discussed his commitment to North Carolina, including why he’s not concerned about the transfers out or last season’s results. Following Paxson Wojcik’s commitment to UNC on Monday, the Tar Heels still have five open scholarships left to hand out ahead of the 2023-24 season. This is due to the outgoing six transfers – Caleb Love, Puff Johnson, Tyler Nickel, Dontrez Styles, Justin McKoy, and Will Shaver. One target is the “other UNC’s” Dalton Knecht who is rated 5th in the 247Sports transfer portal rankings. Currently, Towson transfer Nick Timberlake is on campus for an official visit after Coach Davis completed a visit to his home in Massachusetts last week. Knecht would make a great addition as a high level scorer and a volume three point shooter who has made 37.3% of his career three-point attempts. Isaac Schade and Pac Kilby also answer the question: If you could have one of the six Carolina transfers back, who would you take and why? Kilby selects Dontrez Styles while Schade takes Tyler Nickel.
