Reblogged 1 year ago from www.youtube.comCaleb Love entered the transfer portal on Monday, becoming the sixth Tar Heel to do so in the two weeks since the portal opened. He joins Tyler Nickel, Justin McKoy, Dontrez Styles, Puff Johnson, and Will Shaver. Love will be remembered for providing some of the most memorable moments in recent Tar Heel memory – most notably hitting the three the essentially ended Coach K’s career and knocked off Duke in the Final Four.
With UNC basketball guard Caleb Love entering the transfer portal, Joe Ovies & Candace Cooper discuss Love’s time with North Carolina basketball, and wonder how head coach Hubert Davis is going to fill the holes and needs for Tar Heels basketball moving forward.

North Carolina notched a third ACC win on the season with a home victory over Notre Dame, 81-64. A big part of the win was Carolina’s +13 rebounding advantage, thanks in part to a dominant performance from Armando Bacot, whose 21 points and 13 boards were tops for both teams. Caleb Love had 18 points, RJ Davis had 13 points with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, and Puff Johnson came off the bench to add 11 points and 6 rebounds. For the Fighting Irish, Nate Laszewski had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead his team in both categories.

Brown graduate transfer Paxson Wojcik committed to North Carolina on Monday, he announced.
He was in Chapel Hill for a visit over the weekend, as was reported by Inside Carolina.
A 6-5 guard/wing from Charleston, South Carolina, Wojcik averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game for the Bears this past season, shooting 38.0 percent from three. For his efforts, Wojcik was a 2nd team All-Ivy selection. With two seasons at Brown, and two seasons at Loyola-Chicago before that, Wojcik has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
