Armando Bacot has been recruiting basketball players to come to join him in Chapel Hill from the moment he committed to the Tar Heels. But now he’s expanding his outreach to the football field as well. Bacot recently tweeted at potential Ohio State transfer Lejond Cavazos to come to UNC. The Curious Case of Sam Howell's Draft Stock | Another Transfer Target for Basketball?
What on earth happened to Sam Howell’s draft status? He went from a consensus top-of-the-first-round pick to the first pick of the fifth round. Despite the tumble, the UNC QB alum has a new home in Washington and it seems to be a great opportunity for him to learn under Carson Wentz.
Three other Tar Heels were drafted – Joshua Ezeudu, Ty Chandler, and Marcus McKethan. Additionally, six other Carolina players have been listed as undrafted free agents (UDFAs). Host Isaac Schade walks you through the landing spot for each.
